Job Description:
As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust, secure, and high-performance cloud environments. Your expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, cloud security, and DevOps practices will be invaluable in this role.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7-8 years of overall experience with at least 3 years of experience focused on infrastructure architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and provisioning.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Our strong preference is AWS and Azure background.
- Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer.
- Strong expertise in cloud security, network architecture, and identity and access management.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
- Experience in assessing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions is a plus.
- Well-familiarized with optimizations like cloud cost optimization and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and develop cloud infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives and adhere to best practices in security and scalability.
2. Cloud Platform Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on AWS and Azure, to architect and manage cloud environments.
3. Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure by implementing robust security measures, network architecture, and identity and access management.
4. Infrastructure as Code (IAC): Implement infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate and streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
5. Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to optimize and manage containerized applications.
6. DevOps and Automation: Promote DevOps practices and utilize automation tools to enhance efficiency in infrastructure management and deployments.
7. Hybrid Cloud Solutions: Assess and, when applicable, implement hybrid cloud solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
8. Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance improvements.
