Business Analyst

Summary

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with customer stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, document processes, and contribute to the design and improvement of systems and processes. It has to be a strong character with the ability to influence customers and ensure the outcome is focused on the overall business value; the individual needs to be able to see the bigger picture and designs/ interpretation of requirements needs a holistic view vs. just accommodating the many different stakeholder groups desires.

Key Responsibilities

● Collaborate with external customer business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements for new projects or enhancements.

● Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis to elicit and clarify business requirements.

● Analyze and document existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

● Work with stakeholders to define and implement streamlined and efficient processes.

● Analyze and interpret data to provide insights into business trends and performance.

● Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis.

● Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements,functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.

● Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

● Effectively communicate business requirements and insights to cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and project managers.

● Collaborate with technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of business needs.

● Work closely with QA teams to define test scenarios and validate that solutions meet business requirements.

● Participate in testing activities and support the resolution of issues.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

● Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance or financial industry.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques.

● Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.

Note - Should be willing to travel to KSA when required.
